A competition for a shopping basket from BasketBasket, a company the page said paid fair trade prices directly to local suppliers and positioned its baskets as an alternative to the plastic carrier bag. The page recorded that its founder had started it after failing to find in the UK the baskets she had grown used to in France.

That founding detail is the sort of specific the publication's product coverage usually lacked, and it is preserved here for that reason. The fair trade claim is the company's own and was not examined.
