The landing page for Do It In Public, the original site's campaign for public transport. Its argument was made on convenience and cost rather than on emissions: a bus or train is cheaper, somebody else does the driving and the parking, and the time is the passenger's to read or sleep in.

The page announced a journey planning tool built with Transport Direct, the government route planning service that operated until 2014. The writing was jokey and aimed at a young readership, with the environmental case left largely implied.

This address carries a link from the Evening Standard, which makes it one of the more heavily cited pages in the archive. The capture does not show a publication date, so none is recorded above.

Note that a separate tag listing at /tag/do-it-in-public also survives in this archive under the same name. That is a listing of pages carrying the tag. This one is the campaign page itself.
