A short piece on the Les Mues line from the Japanese clothing company AOKI, a business suit cut for cycling. The page described water resistant and stain repellent finishing, stretch fabric, and reinforcement inside the trousers at the inner thigh and hip where a saddle causes wear.

Its starting observation was that almost nobody was seen cycling to work in a suit, and that this was unsurprising given the likely state of the suit on arrival. The piece treated the clothing as the obstacle rather than the cycling.

That is a narrower and more useful argument than most of the section made, and it is one of the few pages in the archive that engages with the practical friction of a lower carbon choice rather than with its style. An Indonesian lifestyle site links to this address.
