A list of domestic energy saving actions, written as short prompts rather than as an article. Turning the thermostat down by one degree, switching televisions off at the wall rather than leaving them on standby, and unplugging chargers not in use.
Each item carried a saving figure attributed to an average family: 400 kilograms of carbon dioxide a year for the one degree reduction, 150 kilograms for the standby change. No source is given for either figure on the page, and none appears in the capture, so both are recorded here as claims the page made rather than as established numbers.
The tone is worth noting because it is the exception in this archive. Most of the site's output carried its argument inside entertainment or fashion coverage. This page states the actions plainly and does not decorate them, which makes it the closest thing the original publication had to a straightforward advice page.
