1 – Accept different types of payments
There are a lot of ways for people to pay for things online and everybody has their favorite. Typically most people will opt to pay with credit cards, as well as debit cards. However, there are also options for bank transfers, PayPal, gift cards, etc. If they are looking to purchase from your site but don’t see their preferred method, they will jump to your competitor that does within seconds.
By limiting the payment options you are losing customers. Make sure that you have several ways for people to make a purchase from an app like Venmo to cryptocurrency. With it so easy to buy BTC with credit cards, more and more people are opting to use it as their preferred currency.

2 – Make bundles
People love to feel like they are getting a deal. If you have items that work well together then you can offer discounts if they buy them together. For instance, if you sell shoes then offering inserts or leather cleaner together with the purchase for less than the price of ordering them separately you will increase your sales.
Upgrades are also very attractive so if you have different versions of the same product then you could upsell them on the higher ticket item.
3 – Use different landing pages
Different people have different motivations for coming to your site. Some are looking for more information to determine if they should buy your product for instance. Others are ready to make a purchase but may not know exactly what they are looking for.
Both of these people will need different types of copy on the landing page to help guide them to purchase. The first one is not ready to buy so the landing page should be an offer that gets them into the sales funnel so they can buy when they are further along the buyer’s journey.
The second one that is essentially ready to buy needs to know his or her options so should have copy that brings them in to make the purchase but gives them the different options so they can see what they want immediately.
