What’s all the fuss?
If you’re after the best place for snowboarding and skiing, Tignes is the perfect spot. Tignes is famous for its brilliant skiing area called L’Espace Killy, with over 190 miles of pistes. There are also around 150 shops, 115 bars o bringing you 150 shops and 115 bars, so when you’re off the snow you definitely won’t be bored! It’s also one of ‘snow -sure resorts.’
L’Espace Killy is also famous for its amazing off-piste, great lift access and all the courses they provide, such as the half pipe (pictured), boardercross and some awesome freeriding areas. There is also an Olympic downhill course available for those who dare!
If you’re a beginner then don’t panic, you won’t get left behind! There are several ski schools for either private or group lessons, before jumping on the courses available!
For those of you who fancy trying something different to snowboarding, you can also try out ice diving, hang gliding, skidoo riding, parascending and many more activities. Be sure to check the website first because there is an exciting 45% off equipment hire at the mo!
The journey to Tignes is ridiculously easy! The Eurostar ski train run directly to the resort from London every Saturday. It’s really that simple! Why not get yourself into the French mood by arriving early to the station and grabbing a croissant from Le Pain Quotidien in The Arcade.
