GET THE LOOK: How to make the girls swoon like David Gandy

on in Uncategorized

Because looking good underneath those jeans doesn’t have to cost the Earth…

David Gandy Underwear for Autograph

After years of modelling them on catwalks all over the globe, David Gandy has now designed his own underwear collection for Marks & Spencer.

The collection launched last month and, while we must admit those cardboard cut outs look mighty fine, we also wish the model had thought a little bit more about his impact on the planet.

Which is why we’ve found some eco alternatives so you can get the look without feeling bad…

First up is a very cool company called DaDa, which was created with the intention of making mens underwear comfortable without harming the planet. This boutique underwear brand strives to make underwear more interesting with their quirky designs and adventurous colours (below centre). As well as all their ethical practices, they also use interesting fabrics that are natural and more sustainable than most of their counterparts. Any of the fabrics that use synthetic materials are made mostly from natural fibres such as bamboo, wood-pulp or coffee grinds. They also use 100% organic cotton to ensure no harmful chemicals are applied in production. Check out their full range here.

Next up is a Global Cool fave, Cock and Bull. Made in 196 gm organic cotton (which in short spells quality that you can feel) their organic boxer briefs are wardrobe staples that you can depend on (below left and right). Woven in Huddersfield from GOTs certified organic cotton, coloured in Huddersfield, printed in Deptford, London and sewn in Derby all under their watchful eyes, they are proud to have produced the first men’s underwear range made entirely in the UK. Oh and the models on their website aren’t bad either. Check out the collection now.
