It has been a really busy week here at Global Cool. We do love being busy but traipsing home after a long day in this miserable deluge has made us a little weary. Misery is poor company so we’re here to supply you with some new music to talk about instead.

First up is a little known, just launched band from London called Gutshot For Broadway. Members Arnaud Stockbroekx, Hector Cottam, Joe Ferdinand and Will Ritson are at the very beginnings of making a career for themselves in the music industry – and what absolute gems they are. The band played a launch event at The Star of Kings earlier this month, handing out copies of their two winning tracks Pity Boy and Lola.

There isn’t much online yet but check out our favourite track Lola on SoundCloud now…

Next up is a musician who we hardly think needs an introduction but for those of you who haven’t heard of Feist we are here to enlighten you. Leslie Feist, who goes by Feist as a solo artist, is a exceptionally talented singer-songwriter from Canada. She is known for creating a delicate but strong indie pop sound and released her fourth studio album, Metals, in 2011. We first heard her music on the brilliant 500 Days of Summer soundtrack (2009), which featured her track Mushaboom.

Our pick for this week is an incredible track titled The Bad in Eachother, featured on Metals. Bryan Webb of indie rock band Constantines brings his vocals to the amazing chorus that you will struggle to stop singing. Take a listen and watch the video to The Bad in Eachother below…

And don’t forget to check out Global Cool’s Music Radar Spotify playlist to keep up to date with the hottest new music when you’re on the bus/train/tube to work….

GC articles show you one of four ways (the one in bold) to live greener…
/ Be a winner (not a binner) /
/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane) /
