Reasons to snog, marry and avoid Jesse Eisenberg, Olivia Munn and Emma Stone

Because living like a celeb doesn’t have to cost the Earth…

Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone

Global Cool would like to give a warm welcome to our newest writer Rebecca Sellitti – one of the wittiest and prettiest gals we know. She’ll be bringing you the hottest gossip from the land of celeb each week – enjoy…

By Rebecca Sellitti

I have a special place in my heart for nerdy boys, so it gives me great pleasure to announce my selection of the adorably-dorky-Jesse Eisenberg as this week’s most snoggable celebrity.

To prepare for his role as an eco-activist in Night Moves (a movie that follows a group of eco extremists as they plot to blow up a hydroelectric dam), Jesse spent several months working the cabbage fields at an organic farm. Not only did the Oscar nominee spend his days picking cabbage; he also spent his nights sleeping in a yurt. Talk about not letting your celebrity status go to your head!

Anyhow, I’m pretty DAM (pun intended) excited to see Eisenberg in Night Moves when it hits theaters later this year!

Olivia MunnMarry
Although it pains me to draw attention to a woman who is smart, stunning and salacious, I must put my jealousy aside and offer up Ms. Olivia Munn as this week’s most marriage-worthy celeb.

The self-proclaimed ‘nerd’ (I’m not buying it, though. NO ONE that hot has the right to refer to herself as a geek!) has thrown her strong support behind The Thirst Project, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to make certain that clean water is accessible to every person on the planet.

Oh, and Munn will be lending her flawless face to the documentary program Years of Living Dangerously, a TV series that explores the human impact of climate change. If you are a regular reader of this column, you should know all about the docu-series since Ian Somerhalder (swoon) and Don Cheadle, are also involved!

Global Cool is all about promoting the use of public transport (check out their Doing it in Public campaign), but it turns out there are some situations where taking the bus can actually be the less eco-friendly option. Case in point: actress Emma Stone’s decision to rent out a massive double-decker bus to shuttle boyfriend Andrew Garfield and a handful of his friends around London. It should come as little surprise then, that I named Ms Stone as the celebrity we should all be avoiding, this week.

If this Mary Jane had chartered the behemoth bus in order to haul around fifty, or even just twenty-five of Spiderman’s pals, I would probably have given her a pass. But, if the paparazzi photos are any indication, the huge vehicle was rolling along the streets with only seven or eight people on board! I understand that celebrities cherish their privacy and all, but cruising down Oxford Street in a two-story red bus hardly seems like the best way to keep a low profile.

Hopefully, the young actress will be working with actor and eco-mentor Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio sometime soon. She really needs some of Leo’s eco-consciousness to rub off on her!

Fingers crossed Emma Stone changes her ways soon so we can go and see her alongside Ryan Gosling because they really do make a wonderful pairing…

GC articles show you a few ways (the ones in bold) to live greener…

/ Be a winner (not a binner) /
/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane)/
